We had a really nice stay and felt part of a special croatian family! When we arrived, the family welcomed us with a nice juice and typical home made sweets. The place is super clean and cozy. It came with olive oil, a plant of basil, vinegar, fruits... it was all special! One night Ivana brought us an apple cake they made, super yummy!! The location is nice too as it is in the middle of the island and very close to a small beach. We would definitely come back and we highly recommend this place. Totally perfect if you want to disconnect and live the island 100%. We also got a small bouquet as souvenir made by the little and beautiful Tea!! Thank you again for the special stay! Eine der schönsten Airbnb Unterkünfte, die wir bisher hatten. Das Apartment liegt im 1. Stock des Familienhauses. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war spitze. Wenige Minuten entfernt liegt ein herrlicher Strand, der bei den Einheimischen beliebt ist. Ansonsten ist das Apartment für Liebhaber von Ruhe ideal. Das Haus wird per Solarstrom versorgt, so dass auch die Umweltbilanz stimmt, d.h. allerdings auch, dass es sehr warm werden kann aber der Ausblick auf das offene Meer entschädigt mehr als genug. We spent fantastic time at Andrija's place. If you are looking for the peaceful place were you can completely 'disconnect' and just relax far away from the urban noise and rush this is ideal spot. Apartment met our needs fully, we loved it and kids loved it as well. Host were just great, very kind and helpful. And we will never forget great surprise which was homemade birthday cake for our daughter :)) Definitely this is the place and hosts to recommend. Andrija - many, many thanks for hosting us. We had a truly amazing stay at Andrija's place and we cannot recommend this place enough. The island Mljet itself is stunning, beautiful and quiet, and very much worth a visit. The apartment is nicely located in the middle of the island, directly on the coast with a lovely sea view and direct access to the water (climbing some rocks) right in front -a very peaceful and beautiful spot. There is a beach only 400 m down the road as well. The apartment is new and well equipped, with a nice little balcony towards to sea. One piece of advice is to rent a car (or scooter) as it will make it easier to get around the island (this would probably be the case wherever you choose to stay on Mljet). Andrija and his family were just awesome and helpful all the way through. They came and picked us up from the ferry in Pomena when we arrived and even brought us by car the next day to town so we could rent a car of our own, helped with advice on where to go and were just really lovely and friendly. Their love for the place clearly shines through :-) they even gave us some flowers and homemade brandy as a farewell gift! We had an amazing stay and highly recommend this place! Nynne, Kopenhagen

This has been one of the best experiences I've had with Airbnb. We've received the best welcome ever by the Rotim family, with homemade wine and fresh juice, even though we arrived quite late in the evening. The apartment was perfectly clean and had an amazing sea view. The position is great to visit Ulysse's Cave as well as the National Park, and it's very close to the nicest beach we've seen on the island (Uvala Sutmiholjska). We really hope to come back soon! One of the greatest place to be in Croatia. We spent a wonderful week. Ivana and her family are very kind people, and we had a genuine welcome. They easily share their love for Mljet with newcomers.
